Welcome to Anna Kate's Plate!

I started my food instagram, @annakatesplate, in 2017 for my love of food and photography. I mostly posted vacation meals and some dinners from nights my family would go out to dinner in my hometown, Tampa, Florida. My love for food has always been present, but moving to Madison, Wisconsin for college I was on my own to explore a new place and it’s food scene. Luckily for me, Madison is a foodie town with so much to offer. After two years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I transferred to the University of Michigan where I am currently a junior. Now I’m sharing my favorite spots in Ann Arbor and what I’m making in my kitchen. Expanding to a website gives me the opportunity to communicate more with other foodies and really share my opinions.
